We are celebrating dads with a Gone Fishing event on June 19! Join us at Chatfield State Park's Muskrat Pond for a fun day of fishing. Registration is required for our morning or afternoon session. Lunch will be provided.

Scheels will be providing a limited number of youth fishing poles.

2022 Rule Review
The 2022 Rule Review has completed its first phase, with Committee Reviews having wrapped up on June 15. The next step in the process is for the changes/adds/deletions go-to legal for review and then to the homeowners for their comments. Please see below for the timeline for the Rule Review 2022.
  • Legal Review - June 15- 27
  • Homeowner Comment Period Week of June 27 - Week of July 11; homeowners will have the Rule Survey available to them via Survey Monkey during this time period. Homeowners can approve changes/ adds/deletions or provide their own comments to rules during this time period. Homeowner Comment Period results will be compiled for CAB Board review.

XCEL Power Outage Update
On Wednesday, June 15 staff sent the residents an update on the XCEL power outage that occurred last weekend. If you missed it, you can click here to learn more!
  • Internet issues stemming from the power outages - Some residents have reached out to info@sterlingranchcab.com reporting that their internet has been going in and out since the power outages. We reached out to the Sterling Ranch Technology Team for assistance with these issues and they have guided us to the Internet troubleshooting page found on Sterlingranchcab.com/ Resources/Internet/Internet Troubleshooting or you can click here.
Streetlights Update
The Dimonoff Retrofit of the streetlights in Filings 4,2 and 1 will begin the week of June 20th and will continue for two months. The retrofit includes swapping out the Lighting Control Unit on the top of every pole head in these areas.
Common Area Maintenance and Improvements
  • Turf replacements on Titan Road Roundabout, Taylor River, and Eagle River
  • Bench and Picnic Bench - sand and stain, 39 benches and tables, completed June 16
  • Tree replacements - 50+ trees ordered and scheduled for replacement last week of June in CAB-owned and maintained areas.
  • Shrub replacement and mulch top dress - the replacement of 300+ shrubs around the community will begin the last week in June. Mulch beds will be top-dressed after shrubs are installed.
  • Irrigation Repairs - there has been a significant amount of irrigation damage in CAB common areas, particularly the tree lawns where there is Netafim irrigation. Please be aware and do not place signs on tree lawns.
Pool Shade Structure
The shade structure installation for the Overlook pool deck has been scheduled for June 27. The installation will take 2-3 days. The area around the installation will be cordoned off but the pool will remain open during this time.

Like many school districts across our state and country, DCSD faces many funding challenges. We must address funding needs to ensure that all of our students have access to the best possible public education within safe and comfortable learning environments.

PATRIOTIC HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST
Let's make Sterling Ranch beam with pride in red, white, and blue for the Fourth of July! Residents are encouraged to show their patriotic pride by decorating the outside of their homes by July 1. The top 3 houses with the best decorations will win a prize! Winners will be announced at 5:00 PM at the Stars and Stripes Celebration.
UNCLE SAM OR LADY LIBERTY LOOK-ALIKE CONTEST
Everyone knows the iconic symbols of the United States; Uncle Sam, and Lady Liberty. We want to see your best version of the long white hair and chin whiskers dressed in a swallow-tailed coat, vest, tall hat, and striped trousers in the parade! There will be two adult winners and two kids winners. Winners will be announced at 5:00 PM at the Stars and Stripes Celebration.
STARS AND STRIPES PARADE
We will start the celebration with a parade starting at Providence Park! Decorate your golf carts, bikes, strollers, scooters, and more to join us! The route will stay on internal, low-traffic streets. Click here for the route. Line up for the parade is at 4:00 PM at Providence Park. The parade starts at 4:15 PM.
In-N-Out Burger
In-N-Out Burger will be back for our Stars and Stripes Event. Purchase your meal tickets early as they sell out fast! Registration for In-N-Out starts on June 15th. The cost is $10 per meal, which includes a burger, chips, and drink. You can pick up your meals starting at 4:30 PM, day of the event.
Message in a Bottle Concert, Providence Park, 5:00pm-7:00pm
The Police remain one of the greatest rock bands of all time, with a fan base that's varied from young to old. Message In A Bottle recreates the magic and original flavor of Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland of yesteryear, while producing an energetic and fresh live show of today leaving the audience wanting more whenever they hit the stage. If you're a Police fan, this band is a must see, and if you're not, you will be after the show. Bring your blankets or your own lawn chair and enjoy this great band!
