GPL's March/April Newsletter
These are extraordinary times. The library closed its doors to the public on March 13. A few days later, as a safety precaution, we sent library staff home where they continue to work to provide our community access to library services. From home, staff can issue new temporary library cards upon request to allow residents to access our incredible online resources – books, audiobooks, films, tv shows, music, and online courses . From craft projects to university lectures, there is an abundance of incredible learning and entertainment options to fill your time as you shelter in place. If you have children learning from home we even have tutors available to help . If you need help registering for any of these resources you can call 914-721-8225 or email  information@greenburghlibrary.org . Both the email and phone number will connect you with a library staff member that will answer any question you may have.

You can also check our website for programs we will be doing online, including children's book talks and various discussion groups. This experience is unprecedented and new for all of us, but it is exciting to learn what we can do by using new technologies to virtually connect with our community at a time when connections are physically impossible.

Above all, libraries are a source of information and we are doing our best to provide timely and accurate information about the Covid-19 pandemic on our website .

While we look forward to welcoming you back into the library, for the foreseeable future the library will remain closed but staff will continue to work hard from home so patrons can take full advantage of the abundant library resources still available.

Please stay home and stay healthy!

John Sexton, Library Director

This story alternates between 1982, when twenty-year-old Viv Delaney mysteriously disappears from the Sun Down Motel, and 2017, when her teenaged niece Carly is trying to figure out what happened to her aunt all those years ago.
