The library is currently accepting donations for the Friends' Book Nook on the loading dock only. If you are interested in donating books for our ongoing book sale in the Book Nook, please drop off your books, packaged in bags or boxes, at the loading dock. The number one question we are asked is 'Where is the loading dock?'
Here is how you find it:
Collage of images of the library parking lot showing how to get to the loading dok.
As you drive up the library's driveway, go to the right as you approach the parking lot instead of driving straight to the book drop and front of the library. Continue around the garden (on your left) and as you head towards the building, you will see the loading dock with a bright yellow sign that reads "Please put donations back here."

Place your donations, packed in small boxes or bags, as far back towards the sign as you can to shield them from inclement weather. Leave the bench clear for staff use. Our staff works to bring in donations on a regular basis, but our limited sorting space inside often cannot quite keep up with your generosity.

If you are in need of a receipt for your records, you may obtain one at the circulation desk during library hours.
While sorting your own books and materials for donation to the library, please keep in mind the following guidelines.
We cannot accept textbooks, VHS or cassettes, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, reader's digest series, or burned/bootlegged CDs or DVDs.

Thank you for thinking of us for your book donations!
