Dust off your running shoes, find your cape, and mark your calendar for Saturday, February 13th for Grace's Superhero Run. Last year we had over 650 runners and we're expecting the same this year. There will be a 1 mile fun run at 8:00 AM, and a 5K and 8K run at 8:30. The start and finish lines will be in front of the school, and the course is along River Road. Health and safety protocols will be in place. Be on the lookout for discount codes and registration information next week!

Back by popular demand....drumroll please.... RUN CLUB! Open to 1st-8th graders, every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 7:30-8:00 AM, students will have the opportunity to burn off some energy before classes begin for the day. Registration is $30 per student. If your child is already registered for morning care, run club is included in your morning care registration cost. If you would like to register your child for run club, please complete the paperwork in the link below and then email it to Mrs. Ginger at gneitzke@geds.net.

It's time to order your yearbook! This year's book will be a hard cover, 64 page book featuring all of our students in PK3 - 8th grade. Books are on sale now for $50. The book price will increase to $65 on 1/22/21. Books will be delivered to the school before school gets out in May. We've streamlined the ordering process this year. ALSO - Kindergarten and 8th grade parents - if you would like to purchase a dedication in the back of the yearbook for your child, you will go to this same site, click on 1/4 page ad, upload your photos and text, and pay for your dedication. It's super simple, but if you get stuck feel free to call the front office and ask for Melissa - 904.269.3718.

There has been a change in the sports calendar! If your child is signed up to play a winter sport, our leagues have postponed practices until the week of the 18th and games until the week of the 25th. With that being said, it's not too late to sign up for winter sports! If your 3rd-6th grader is interested in playing either volleyball or flag football, regsiter today. Congratulations to our new Artists of the Week from Mrs. Taylor's 8th grade class, Riley and Lauren. The students each used watercolors to paint a beautiful picture of a pot of geraniums. Their paintings are based on a famous painting by Henri Matisse. Gorgeous work!
