State and federal benefits are hurting hiring, according to a recent UCAN Employer Survey. 80% of employers surveyed said they are hiring and 56% of them said that prospective employees are telling them that for now, they prefer to accept state and federal COVID benefits than accept a job. |

Marshall Medical Center is now participating in the State of California’s centralized vaccination program, called My Turn. To schedule your first-dose vaccine, visit MyTurn.ca.gov and select any convenient location. Second-dose vaccines are automatically scheduled on MyTurn.ca.gov and you will be notified via text or email. Helpful tips:
· If you prefer to receive your vaccine at Marshall Medical Center, enter 95667 in the zip code search field. Marshall will display as an option if appointments are available. It’s best to check after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for the week’s appointment schedule.
· Vaccination appointments are subject to supply, which may be unpredictable.
· Vaccine brand availability also depends upon which dose is sent by the state.
If you have had your first dose at Marshall (but not through the My Turn process), you will be contacted directly regarding your second-dose vaccine appointment.
