Come Grow With Us!
The Estrella Warbirds Museum is now the #2 "Go-To" place to visit in the Paso Robles area!  We welcome visitors from all over the world.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us greet visitors, show people around the museum and to hear about your own military experience.

Perhaps you enjoy tinkering or restoring vehicles or aircraft (or just want to learn).  We'd love to meet you and for you to join us as part of our growing team!  Its a wonderful place to make new life long friends!

Contact us today!  We'd love to hear from you.

Please Note Changes

Due to recent developments in regards to the COVID-19 virus that is affecting our way of life, please note the following:

Estrella Warbirds Museum and the Woodland Auto Display are very concerned about the COVID-19 virus and how it could affect our visitors and our staff.

The San Luis Obispo County Public Health officials announced an order on March 19 for all state residents to shelter in their homes.  This shelter-at-home order will remain in place until further notice.  County officials say this means all public gatherings outside of homes are strictly prohibited.

The Estrella Warbirds Museum and the Woodland Auto Display will remain closed until cleared by local health authorities.

Monthly dinners are placed on hold until further notice.

All volunteer staff must reside by the above mentioned requirements. All shops are closed with restoration projects placed on hold until further notice.

Warbirds Wings & Wheels & Swap Meet has been rescheduled to September 19.  Dennis Gage and Monte Mills have agreed to the move dates.  The dinner/barn dance featuring Monte Mills scheduled for May 8th has been moved to September 18th.   Individual notices are being sent to all whom have previously registered with options to transfer registration to September or receive a refund for fees paid.

All other events have been placed on hold for the time being.
Our website, emails and voice mails remain current.  We will stay in touch and keep you informed of all updates.
We Are Estrella Strong!

Little was it known back in January of 1990, when we first started out as the Estrella Squadron and then 10 years later, changed to Estrella Warbirds Museum, did we ever imagine that the former almond packing warehouse would one day house become part of one of the fastest growing aviation museums in Central California.

We have continued to grow over the years without receiving any government grants nor tax payer funded dollars.

It has been the growing dedication of a strong like-minded community of individuals which has kept our doors open and our bills paid. As a community, we've built this place to memorialize and preserve history and artifacts for generations to come.  Our financial support has come from entrance fees, membership fees, individual donations and a few choice grants from individuals and organizations that have generously provided over the years.  We are a dedicated not for profit 501(c)(3) registered corporation.

Now that we are required to close our doors to the public for an unknown temporary time period, unfortunately, we still have expenses.  We still have state mandated financial requirements for our small salaried staff of key individuals.  There are still utilities, insurance and physical expenses which we must continue to maintain and pay.  We have no idea what the future holds, but we are strong in spirit, strong in dedication and strong willed to survive and grow!

During this critical time for all of us,  our thoughts and prayers are with our entire Estrella Warbirds Family. Based on what has happened during this past two months, we know that some of our family will be affected more seriously than others. We have always been here for you and we know you will be there for us.
Your Donations Are Greatly Appreciated!
