Update On COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Monday 23, 2020

First of all, thank you. We know that during this unprecedented time in history many of you are dealing with new challenges, stresses and sorting out your "new normal." We thank you for your patience and are grateful for all of the heartfelt messages you have sent us. Your concern for our well-being means the world to us.

With the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, and as we continue to receive mandates from our local, state and federal government, our practice is addressing how we adapt as well.

Therefore, EFFECTIVE Tuesday, March 24, our physical office will be *closed. We will now be offering all patients our Telehealth option until further notice. *We will still provide in-person care for urgent cases which will be determined and scheduled after the initial telehealth appointment.

Telehealth patients will be seen by either Dr. Robert Finkelstein or Michelle Selvaggi, ARNP-C. They will conduct your appointment via either Apple Devices Facetime Application or Skype. One of our Medical Assistants may initially contact you to take some vital information prior to you seeing the Provider. Both Providers are able to prescribe or refill medication as necessary after the call.

*Telehealth is now considered a covered service by the following:

  • Medicare - No copay
  • Aetna - No copay
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield - Copay required
  • United Healthcare - Copay required

Any other insurance or self-pay will be charged $100 upon scheduling. For those with insurance, we will be happy to submit your claim for your reimbursement. *Subject to change

Apple Facetime via iPhone or iPad is the preferred method for the Telehealth visit. Otherwise, the Skype app may also be used. If you have any questions about how to use Facetime, give our office a call. Please have your phone number for Facetime or Skype name ready when scheduling.
