CONFIRMATION UPDATES

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the rise in number, we have adjusted the confirmation celebration. Bishop Parkes will now celebrate two Confirmation Masses on Saturday January 30th (10AM and 1PM). Families will be informed by postcard, which Mass you youth has been assigned too.

The rehearsal and retreat date will remain the same, Saturday, January 23rd

Please contact Kim Davis, Coordinator of Faith Formation at 813-671-4434 if you have any additional questions.

NEW Young Adult Ministry Study
The St. Stephen Young Adult ministry continues to meet online.
On Jan 12, we will start a study of Revelation, a controversial and confusing book. Our study is based on Ascension Press’ 11-session video. We will discover what the mysterious figures and images of Revelation mean and see how Revelation is more than an apocalyptic vision of the “end times.” This study is for anyone who has never read and/or understood Revelation. Please check out the trailer.

We meet 7-9 pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. We watch a movie and have an open discussion. If you have the time and want to get a deeper understanding of Revelation, there is a workbook available from Ascension Press for approximately $30. The workbook has questions to highlight some nuances in the readings and with it you get access to the 11 online videos in case you miss one of our meetings.
Please email Sue(Sue@ststephencatholic.org) to sign up.
