PARISHIONERS NEEDED!!
FOR EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Nothing we do is more intimate or more adoring
than receiving the Eucharist,
the very Body and Blood of Christ, in holy Communion.
We experience and unite ourselves to Jesus.
Holy Mother Church has long affirmed devotions that extend this miraculous event beyond the confines of the Mass.
One such common devotion is Eucharistic Adoration.
During Eucharistic Adoration,
the faithful pray to Jesus, Who is present in the Eucharist.
He is not a symbol or Bread -
We receive and adore, the actual and Real Presence of Christ!
True, we pray to God anywhere and He is always with us,
but it is especially powerful to adore Jesus in the Eucharist.
In His presence in the Eucharist,
we pray to His power and sacrifice
given to His beloved creatures, us, so that we may live.
Displayed on the altar in a beautiful monstrance,
Jesus' Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus,
that is really, truly, and substantially present in the Eucharist.
