Additional Schedule Changes for This Week
Please note that the Women's Fellowship event, Young Adults Kickball, and "Taste of CGS" event originally scheduled for this weekend have all been cancelled. In addition, The Coins Concert originally scheduled for March 28 has been cancelled, and the weekend with Zack Eswine originally scheduled for April 3-5 has been postponed until further notice. Men's Bible Study Meeting Virtually
Our Friday morning Men's Bible Study will be meeting virtually via Zoom for the foreseeable future. Beginning March 27, they will start at 7:00am instead of the usual 6:30am time. They are reading Amos right now, and Obadiah next.
If anyone who is not currently involved with the Men's Bible Study wants more information, they can email Joseph Scanlon or Norman Acker.
The Scars That Have Shaped Me Book Study
If circumstances permit, Michele Scanlon & Robin Kiefer will be leading an SMC book study on The Scars That Have Shaped Me by Vaneetha Risner on Sundays at 9:30am from April 19-May 17. This study is for single-again women. Space is limited to 10 participants, but there is still room available. If you are interested in attending this class, please email Liz Stoioff.
Volunteer with VBS 2020
It’s that time of year again! We need God’s people of all talents to serve our church during VBS this year, June 22-26. Our theme is “Redeemed: Heroines in the Lineage of Christ.” Registration for adult volunteers and their children is now live online. Registration for youth volunteers is TBA, but will be open as soon as possible. The date in which non-volunteer kids can register is TBD. Have questions about volunteering? Good Friday Service Update
Currently, our annual Good Friday service is scheduled for 7:00pm on April 10 in the Sanctuary. Stay tuned for updates as we continually monitor the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation.
