TELESCHOOL/DIGITAL LEARNING WEEK OF MAY 4 - 8
REMINDERS FOR PARENTS & STUDENTS
- While there are days that are focused on specific subjects (see above schedule), please know that students can be accessing other subjects during the day. Please use the INSTRUCTIONAL PLAN (see below) for the upcoming week to see what your student can be practicing outside of the focused subject.
- Ensure your student is checking in with their teacher during this period of TeleSchool. Teachers that do not hear from students for an extended period of time may receive an incomplete when we close spring semester.
- Please be respectful of our teachers time, they are available during the instructional day from 8:00AM until 4:00PM MONDAY through FRIDAY. Please utilize that window of time to contact the teacher.

FOOD DISTRIBUTION UPDATE
Based upon the latest precautions and the limited quantities of available masks at this time,
the school system will only be providing meals on Wednesday, May 6 this coming week. Meal distributions will take place at
all 21 locations.

CLASS OF 2020 GRADUATION & CELEBRATIONS
Here are the events that we are planning for our class of 2020 Graduates:
Virtual Commencement Ceremony Thursday May 21, 2020
A recorded version of our traditional graduation ceremony with speeches, music, awards, and calling of graduates names will be released for public viewing.
Drive-thru Parade Celebration Friday May 22, 2020
Graduates and their families are invited to drive through our decorated campus in their own decorated cars wearing caps and gowns to see their teachers and receive diploma covers and keep-sake printed graduation programs.

Lights On! for the MHS Class of 2020
The MHS stadium and baseball field lights and scoreboard will be turned on every night during the month of May at 8:20PM (20:20) in honor of our 2020 graduates!

A billboard near the intersection of Hwy. 9 and Windward Pkwy. will have a different message for the MHS Class of 2020 each week in May.

SENIOR EXIT ACTIVITIES
Attention Seniors! In addition to completing your graduation requirements, Fulton County requires you to complete specific
Senior Exit Activities
for graduation clearance. The deadline to complete these is Monday, May 4.
This information is very important because it helps us know where to send your final transcript, what scholarships you've received, and your plan for next year. It is essential that the information you provide is accurate and precise.

PHYSICALS FOR 20-21
Per Fulton County, we are no longer using Planet HS and all physicals must be completed through Dragonfly (even if they are not yet expired).
- All parents need to create an account and then add their children to their account.
- Instructions for creating an account are below.
- You may need to sign in to Planet HS to download copies of your current physical and upload those forms to Dragonfly.

- Call the Remote Learning Hotline at 470-254-2300 if you are having any issues with your device (Surface), pen, or charger.
- If you are needing to swap out any of these items, the Remote Learning Hotline will schedule an appointment for you at any one of the "IT HUB" locations (Taylor Road, Ridgeview, Wolf Creek, or Banneker).
- Appointments will be on Tuesdays from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. They are not able to take walk-ins, so you will need to schedule an appointment through the Remote Learning Hotline 470-254-2300.

NATIONAL MYTHOLOGY EXAM RESULTS
Congratulations to the Milton Students who won awards in the 2020 National Mythology Exam. The National Mythology Exam is given annually to over 9,000 students in approximately 400 schools nationally and internationally. The National Mythology Exam welcomes all students of classical mythology. The National Mythology Exam is open to all students, grades 3-12. The exam includes general mythology, a thematic section, a section on Vergil's Aeneid, a section on Homer's Odyssey, and Ovid's Metamophoses. This year's theme was Perseus.
