Update from West Madison Little League

Most WMLL activities suspended until further notice

The WMLL Board has approved a situation management plan for use during these uncertain times.   The plan establishes guidelines for conducting activities critical to the WMLL organization, mission & upcoming season while protecting the health & well-being of WMLL players, families & volunteers and acting responsibly within our local, state, national & world communities.

As part of this plan, WMLL is suspending  all  in-person gatherings of 10 or more people & all non-essential in-person gatherings of less than ten people until further notice. All practices & games are included in this suspension.

The WMLL Board & staff will continue preparations for the 2020 spring/summer season in a responsible, thoughtful & fiscally prudent manner,  while carefully monitoring public health advisories from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, & Public Health Madison & Dane County; recommendations from Little League International; & actions taken by area school districts & youth sports organizations.

In doing this, WMLL will make use of online meetings & tele/video conferencing to conduct remote meetings. If an essential gathering of less than 10 people must be held as an actual in-person gathering, WMLL Board officers must approve the gathering & critical meeting guidelines must be followed.

West Madison Little League will continue to share news & provide updates to WMLL families & volunteers in a timely fashion. We remain excited about the opportunity to play ball as soon as it is safe & responsible to do so.
