COVID-19 Update, August 28, 2020
Please continue to watch for updates on our website, Facebook and Twitter accounts to keep you informed of what is happening in Lambton Shores during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The best place to access reliable, up -to-date health information on COVID-19 in Lambton County is the Lambton Public Health Page.
Message from the Mayor

Hello everyone,

Last week, my message addressed the new Face Coverings By-Law. Face coverings are now required in all indoor public spaces throughout Lambton Shores. Additional information about the by-law can be found on our website: https://www.lambtonshores.ca/en/face_coverings.aspx#

I would like to remind everyone that if you are using disposable face masks, please make sure you throw them away in garbage containers, and not in our parks, beach, or on our streets and sidewalks. It is frustrating to see the amount of trash that is being left behind. There is absolutely no excuse for this. Please use a garbage can, or take your trash with you.

As the summer season starts to wind down, the Municipality is gearing up to welcome the public back to our facilities. Staff are working closely with Lambton Public Health and following provincial guidelines to ensure the safe reopening of our facilities. I would like to thank everyone for their continued patience as we navigate through this next phase of reopening. Updates for reopening plans will be posted on the municipal website once they are finalized.

Above all else, if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and follow Public Health guidance. COVID-19 is still here.

With so much out of our control, we can control our own actions. Choose to be kind.

Stay healthy, safe and positive.

Mayor Bill
