Wading through the COVID crisis: PCA is with you!
Whoa… what a whirlwind we are all currently living! With the continuous release of information, guidance and executive orders there is no doubt that we are all in overload mode. PCA has been working tirelessly to monitor and sift through the data to provide our members with relevant content for their continued success in coping with the COVID pandemic. Our goal is to support our members through these challenging times the best way we know how; equipping members with pertinent information and resources to make the best-informed decisions for their individualized operational practices.

In addition to sharing the relevant materials, we have embraced the virtual webinar experience to bring members together for real time question/ answer/ information sharing. Here are some of the most recent webinars conducted. All members have unlimited access to these webinars via the member portal on the PCA website or members can click on the links to the left.

  • Responding to the COVID-19 virus - PCA Member Only Webinar.
  • Responding to the COVID-19 virus: PART II - PCA Member Only Webinar.

We have provided access to our many communications regarding legislative advocacy, national level communications, as well as Florida specific communications. There you will find links to the ongoing information campaign PCA is conducting such as “An Open Letter to U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia - Joseph Bensmihen PCA President”, the Newsmax.com article where PCA President, Joseph Bensmihen is interviewed and discusses the need for reinstatement of the Companionship Services Exemption and even examples of essential worker letters. PCA is dedicated to our members and will continue our mission to support the consumer - directed model of care, which emphasizes the consumer's choice and the rights of caregivers who serve those consumers.
