Golden Pond School is working diligently to provide a loving and joyful learning environment for our families during this challenging time. Our impressive, brain-based programs and procedures have been adjusted for the safety of our students and staff while maintaining the core elements that make GPS unique.

Our community is strong and we will face these unprecedented challenges together. The support from our GPS Families is very appreciated and our cooperative approach will provide our students the academics, stability, love and friendships they need to thrive.

Changes this year include: reduced class sizes, limited exposure to other children and teachers outside core classroom, virtual Home Visits, smaller groups for meals, individual supplies, postponed field trips, outside or carline drop off and pick up, PPE for staff, increased sanitizing and a virtual learning plan if needed. Our teachers have gotten creative and made Book Boats for socially distanced reading, fun songs for feeling safe plus implementing air hugs and high fives for classroom greetings.
