MARCH 2020
An Important Update from Kids' Orchestra
Dear Supporter,

Kids’ Orchestra’s (KO) number one priority is the safety and well-being of our students, staff, teaching artists, families, volunteers, donors, and partners.

With all Louisiana K-12 public schools closed until Monday, April 13, our programs will also be suspended until this time or until further notice.

KO events, performances, and site visits that were planned for March and April are also canceled (see below for more information) so that we can do our part to avoid any unintended spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

We want to thank you so much for your continued support during this rapidly changing situation. We are committed to working with you on our mission of impacting children’s lives by creating a sense of community through afterschool musical training and enrichment programs.

And so, even though our programs and activities are suspended into April, our team is working on virtual music education resources that KO families can use while children are away from school. We will share more information with you soon.

In the meantime, we are here to answer any questions you may have regarding our programs. Please feel free to get in touch with us at any time.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility. And thank you again for being a part of our KO family.

Sincerely,
Jody Hanet
Executive Director
