Dear Members and Friends of the Chamber

In to interest of brevity. Allow me to simply continue my well wishes in this stressful and concerning time.

I will address the number 1 question I have been receiving all day and that is, "When will Montgomery County be classified as a disaster in the interest of opening up the SBA Loans." I have two replies:
1. I don't know for sure when its happening but
2. I know its happening VERY soon. It wouldn't surprise me if it happens before this email reaches your desk.

Its imminent. The Governor made the request. In the meantime, we continually share our resources and support to out 415+ members and the thousands more businesses absolutely devastated by this viral outbreak

As you know the federal government is actively working on a number of ideas, including pushing checks in the mail, expanding the unemployment  to full employment benefits, etc. As we get this information we will share on our website and social media channels. Our concern is helping all our members but recognizing that our small businesses are extremely vulnerable right now.

In the meantime, I invite you all to join us tomorrow for a virtual town hall. (See the phone number below in the email).

All Live Chamber Events from now until 4/10 have been postponed.
This does not included our 3/31 Card Exchange with a big caveat!

Our March 31st Business Card Exchange presented by VIST Bank will now be a Video Information Exchange. It will be free for members and still $10 for non-members.

Here is how it will work. We can accommodate our first 50 participants. Ryan will moderate a conversation, which will include an introduction by all attendees and some general discussion questions about your businesses. We will be utilizing a free (and easy to use application) called Zoom. We will be emailing our registered attendees on 3/30 with the code to tap into the right call.

Thanks VIST Bank for being our Virtual Business Card Exchange Sponsor!
