There are three ways to give to the mission of Christ Church:

you can mail in your pledge, give online, or text GIVE to (850) 403-6673.

We are signed up to serve lunch to the campers on Thursday, June 30. June Linke and Mia Jerrems have graciously agreed to arrange for food pick-up and delivery, but we will need a few folks to help serve. Volunteers simply need to be at the camp (close to Perdido Key) by 11:15 AM ready for a fun time with some wonderful campers! STAY CONNECTED WITH
CHILDREN & FAMILY MINISTRY!
Children and Family Ministry (CFM) has two ways to keep our families connected with Christ Church during the week. CFM is on Instagram, @cckidspensacola, and shares what is happening on Sunday mornings & ideas for how to keep faithful conversations happening during the week. CFM also has a bite-sized weekly email with the "5 Things" our families need to know for the week – Sunday reminders, save the dates, and more. Would you like to be added? Email Victoria to be added to the list!

UKRAINE

As we continue to witness the devastation and havoc in Ukraine, we are mindful of Christ’s continual call to extend God’s unconditional love – including in areas far from Pensacola. One way is that we uphold all those who are suffering in prayer. We pray for God to watch over the people of Ukraine and those directly ministering to them in this time. We also pray for peace, for leaders of all nations, and for people in Russia and surrounding countries. Included below is the Prayer for Peace we have been praying to help guide you in prayer; and then two Diocesan recommended ways to reach out our hands in love to those in need.

Prayer for Peace in Ukraine and All Places

Lord God Almighty – Prince of Peace – in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: hear our prayer for our brothers and sisters who are suffering in conflicts around the world, but especially this day for those in Ukraine. Bring quickly an end to the current warfare and help those who are able find a way to peace in that land. And we pray for those who have died, and those who love them – and for those who have suffered injury and loss – and those who will care for them. And finally, gracious God – we pray for ourselves: that we may find compassion in our hearts and generosity in our spirits to aid those who are suffering in Ukraine and in every country where conflict and deprivation offend the human dignity we hold so dear in our own baptism. All this we ask in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Ways to Help:

  1. The Diocese has recommended partnering with Episcopal Relief and Development, which is actively engaged in providing crisis relief of supplies and humanitarian assistance to the hurting people of Ukraine. Christ Church supports Episcopal Relief and Development broadly through our March Madness outreach. To support the Ukraine Crisis Response directly, you can write a check made payable to Christ Church with ERD – Ukraine Crisis written in the memo line.
  2. The Diocesan Commission on World Mission Engagement has partnered with Blessings International to provide medical supplies for those in need with war-inflicted injuries in Ukraine. Checks may be made out to Blessings International with Ukraine Medications in the memo line and sent to The Rev. Clelia Pinza-Garrity, St. Simon’s Church, 28 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, Ft. Walton Beach, 32548.
EPISCOPAL YOUTH COMMUNITY NEWS

Have a safe and happy summer!!!

ALTAR FLOWER DEDICATIONS
Each week our worship service is enhanced with beautiful fresh flowers. After the Sunday services, the altar flower arrangements are reworked into smaller arrangements. These arrangements are delivered to members of our parish family that are unable to attend a Sunday service. The altar flowers are a memorial, a thanksgiving for an anniversary, a birthday, a new birth, or a thanksgiving for God's blessings. The donation is listed in the weekly bulletin. Forms to participate in this ministry are available here and on the information table in the Parish Office.
CARE IN COMMUNITY
Christ Church is here for you. There are many ministries to love and support the people who are the church. If you are interested in assisting with staying connected to our church family, please email Rev. Katie or call her at the Parish Office, 850-432-5115. It is easy to feel alone or disconnected, so reach out to one of the priests or someone at the church to say hello. Contact Rev. Katie if you or anyone you know has any needs. If you have a pastoral emergency, please call our pastoral care emergency line to speak directly with one of the priests: (850) 462-5137.
BIRTHDAYS & WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES
FOR THE PARISH FAMILY
We would like to give thanks for these special days and to add your name to the published prayer list in the Chronicle. Please print your name on the calendar on the information table in the Parish Office foyer. The calendar is checked weekly before the prayer list goes to print.
