We hope that you and your family continue to be safe and well!

As we move into our last week of May (hard to believe), we are finalizing this year's closeout plans for families and staff, which will take place the last week of school.  Please know that our principals will be sharing those plans with staff and families next week.  In addition, we continue to work on various models for reopening schools in the fall of 2020-21, which includes detailed planning for varied scenarios.  Therefore, to help us make the best decisions, we need your input!  We will be sending a parent survey out to all families later this week, which will allow you to share your feedback for the type of program you would like for your child(ren).  Based upon this input, we will be able to make more informed decisions related to our students and staff.  Please know that we will continue to work closely with our local health officers to ensure that the health and safety of our students and staff.

In closing, yesterday we celebrated Memorial Day, and we want to express our sincere and deep gratitude to the men and women who have given their lives for our freedoms.  We are all indebted to them for paying the highest price!

With gratitude,

Mark Johnson, Ed.D.
Superintendent
