Can you even believe we’re approaching the one-year mark of this COVIDcation? Having to stay home to be safe may have been difficult. But while it’s easy to be full of frustration and disappointment, we are finally nearing the light of day.
The encouraging current trends show a dramatic decline in cases and fatalities of the Pandemic, as a result of the vaccines. They’re proving to be safe, effective and rapidly deployed. So we are looking forward to traveling again by this summer.

History of the Maultaschen
There are a few myths about the creation of the recipe for the Maultaschen, a Swabian, meat filled dumpling, around 1790. I call it the German Ravioli. Legend says the dish was created by nuns and monks in the beautiful monastery of Maulbronn (hence the name Maultasche in German) for a specific reason…
