Message from Alyssa

Hello, all!

Happy Social Distance Week 7!

Keep in mind that we will only have one Sunday School moving forward lasting the whole 9:30-10:30 hour using the Base link! I hope everyone will join us for Sunday School as well as a special Sunday night program on mental health. This program will take place in 2 groups: a boys' group and a girls' group. More information on this event below.  I can't wait to see you all there!

Stay home and stay positive!

It's easy to feel overwhelmed in times like these, but we're here to listen!   Please encourage your youth to complete this brief, anonymous survey on how they're feeling while in quarantine. Answers are confidential!  Click here  to complete the survey.
This Week's Quarantine Tip
Meditation Apps!
Meditation and mindfulness is a great way to find peace amidst the chaos. For guided meditation and mindfulness at your fingertips, we recommend the Breathe app. This app allows you to select how you're feeling mentally and emotionally, and then recommends different guided meditation or yoga exercises.

We are continuing to look into mission trips and the potential risks they may pose. We will keep all families informed in the case of postponement or cancellation. If you'd like to hold your spot, s ign up here.
Looking for Ways to Give Back?
If you are looking for ways to give back in this season of loss for so many, take a look here for ways to give and receive a little extra care.  This week, we are shining a spotlight on our shelters for our neighbors experiencing homelessness: in particular, the impossibly amazing Urban Ministry Center.  Click here for a list of their needs; let's all take this moment to give back!
Get to Know your Congregation
We want to offer our middle schoolers an opportunity to reach out to others in this time of potential isolation - the old-fashioned way. If your youth would be interested in signing up to send letters of encouragement, phone calls, or check-ins to members of our congregation, please  email me.
Have Your Youth Stay Up to Date
