Cornwall Library Newsletter June 2021
Coming back to work after two months of being out to recover from surgery could have been hard. But I jumped right in. It's a good thing the CPL staff know their jobs so well because they certainly made it easier for me.

Current programs are being run and new ones planned for the future. Books are being purchased and processed. Displays are going up again. Patrons are coming in and using our computers, browsing our collection, and sitting to read newspapers or magazines.

Things are slowly beginning to feel normal to me again, and I'm not quite as tired as I was by four o'clock on the first day back. Yes, it's great to work in a place where everybody pitches in to do what needs to be done!

By the way, the Youth Services Department is working furiously to bring a summer reading program to our youth. It might not be the way it was pre-COVID, but it will be great. Look for information on it and on our Adult Summer Reading program, to be available soon.
