We are looking for CNN hosts for the first Wednesdays of the month for 2021. Call the Chamber or email Kasey if your business would like to host!

Jaime Grant; Coffeyville Recreation Commission:
  • Gingerbread Houses kits are available to order. Have fun with a pre-made house and all the goodies to decorate with. Just pick up at the CRC Office. Registration Fee:$8.00 in district / $10.00 out of district Deadline: December 16th (preregister online or at the CRC Office) Friday, December 18th (Pick up kits by 5pm).

Bob York; ReAwakening, Commissioner:
  • Opening weekend of Christmas on the Plaza was a success! Weekly list of activities posted on the Christmas on the Plaza Facebook page. Check it out!

Chelsea Nalley; Advanced Physical Therapy
  • They are doing a food drive all month long! They have a goal of collecting 200 lbs. of canned foods to donate to the Kansas Food Bank between their two clinics! Please consider giving to serve those who are in need during this Christmas season!

Chuck McFate; First Presbyterian Church/Daylight Defenders:
  • Tickets are now on sale for Christmas Candlelit Tours at the Brown Mansion! There is LIMITED QUANTITY so don’t wait and get your tickets! Masks will be required during the tour, $6 per person. Get your tickets at: Candlelit Tour Tickets

Janie Devore-Gillis; CACF:
  • Match Day 2020 was a HUGE success! We love the Coffeyville giving spirit. 355 gifts raised for local non-profits, totaling $118,725.99. 

Stacia Stewart; Coffeyville Friends of Animals:
  • Save the Date: On Saturday, February 6th, Coffeyville Friends of Animals will host the ninth annual Paws for the Cause Chili Bowl. More Details to come!

Yvonne Hull; CCC:
  • Spring Enrollment is open. Contact [email protected] for assistance. Online and face-to-face classes are available. Spring classes start January 11.  
  • Campus will be closed for holiday break December 18 - January 4. Open at 8am on January 5. Offices will be closed on January 7 from 8am - 3pm for Inservice.
Skylar Hix; Sunflower Soda Shop:
  • Christmas is approaching fast so stop by for some easy Christmas shopping! A variety of small gifts to choose from throughout the store, along with gift bags, holiday cards, post cards, and gift cards. Keep an eye out for the DIY Christmas cookie kits! You get 12 sugar cookies, 3 bags of buttercream frosting, and sprinkles!
  • Also, please don’t forget to get your Christmas orders in! They can do custom pastries such as pies, cookies, and cakes! They book up fast so please have your orders in by Friday, December 18th. 

Pat McCoy; First United Methodist Church:Due
  • Donations for the Christmas Blessings Baskets for Salvation Army families need to be turned in by this Friday so they can assemble the baskets for distribution.
  • They traditionally have a “HUGS” tree which is decorated with hats, underwear, gloves, and socks and are given to children of Coffeyville.  
  • Call the church for drop-off times for Christmas donations.

Joe Brooks; Salvation Army:
  • They are needing more volunteers for bell ringing. Call 620-870-9261.

Kisha Johnson; KFAN/Mary Kay:
  • Adopt a grandparent! Purchase a $20 Mary Kay basket that will be delivered to local nursing homes. You can choose to adopt as many as you wish! They will be set up at the Reawakening office during Christmas on the Plaza.
  • KFAN is needing help with donations for Christmas gifts for kids. If you can help, please let Kisha know.

Candi Westbrook; Chamber:
  • Christmas Bucks in full swing. Hurry in before they are gone. Spend $50 at a participating business and receive $10 back in bucks. Follow our FB page for more details.
  • Christmas Parade was a great success. Thank you to all the entries and our community support.
  • Week three Dessert Auction will be this Thursday starting at 1pm. Bid live on Facebook on your favorite dessert, just in time for the holidays.
