Be Our Gold Star!
We are facing an unprecedented health crisis in our community, one that will impact all of us for months. Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our Gold Star Fundraising Breakfast, following public health guidelines. The health and safety of our guests, staff, volunteers, and sponsors is our priority.

However, the needs of Highline Public Schools students and teachers are larger than ever. Our students, teachers, and district staff need the Highline Schools Foundation to step up and help, so we are shifting our efforts to a shareable, online Gold Star Fundraising Campaign. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support the students, families, and educators of Highline Public Schools. Your gift will help us make a difference during the crisis of today and help support our work into the future.

The Highline Schools Foundation is small but mighty, and we pride ourselves on being able to quickly shift to emerging needs of the district and the families within it. Since the announcement of district closures, we have worked with Highline Public Schools to ensure that families have groceries at home to fill the gap between the district-supplied meals – especially in the evenings and on the weekends. We’ve worked with social workers and district administrators to provide school supplies to students learning from home, and those participating in district-provided childcare for first responders and healthcare professionals.
Your gift to the Highline Schools Foundation allows us to continue to support students and families as they need it now, and throughout the year – providing food, shoes, and school supplies to students in need, boosting innovative and equitable learning in classrooms and schools through grants to teachers and staff, and providing supports to bridge the gap between state funding and real needs throughout the district.
