Communion Service
We will be having a communion Service the last Sabbath of January, January 30th. Since we are not meeting in person this will be done during our live streamed service on our YouTube channel. Please have your communion supplies ready. You can use tortillas, flat breads without rising agents such as yeast, baking soda or powder, etc. or Matzo bread. Here is a recipe for unleavened bread. You can also pick up communion kits at the church office during regular office hours. Please do a special family foot washing before the service begins.

Communion Bread
Preheat oven to 350 or 400 degrees depending on oven

Ingredients;
2 cups whole wheat flour
(for gluten-free use rice flour or another gluten-free flour)
3/4 cup warm water
half teaspoon salt
3 Tablespoons oil

In mixing bowl combine your ingredients being sure all ingredients are mixed well into a soft dough. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth. Divide dough into 4 pieces. Using lightly floured parchment paper, roll out 1 piece of dough at a time to about 1/8th inch thick (like a cracker). Score the dough with a pizza cutter into half inch squares. Put dough with parchment paper on a cookie sheet and bake 10 to 15 minutes. You can also make round flat communion bread using this recipe.

Offering And Tithe
For those of you who are concerned about turning your tithes and offerings in, it is simple.  You can drop your tithes and offerings in the boxes by the exit doors as you leave the service. You can mail a check, stating where you want the amount applied to (i.e. $20.00 to Tithe, $20.00 to church budget, etc.), to the church at:
Palo Cedro SDA Church
22585 Silverlode Lane
Palo Cedro, CA  96073
You may drop your check off at the church office during regular office hours, Monday thru Wednesday 9:00am - 12:00pm. Please call first, (530)547-4777. Or donate through AdventistGiving.org. Try the link at the end of this newsletter.

Tuition Assistance
We believe that every child has a right to be educated in a safe God centered environment. So we ask our members to give regularly to the Worthy Student Fund. Your donations allow students in need to attend RAA where they can enjoy this safe God centered education. Our monthly obligation for Student Aid is $1670 this school year. We rely on our members' donations to the Worthy Student Fund to meet this obligation.
