FMLY, 2-23-21, Recharging Spiritual Batteries
Dear Ones,

In today’s installment of “From My Living Room to Yours”—or your “spiritual snack” as I’ve learned some refer to these videos—I share a story about a little girl learning how to recharge her iPad, and her father explaining how we all need to monitor our personal battery levels as well.

Along those lines, I found some welcomed rejuvenation in our vestry retreat this weekend. Although we were on Zoom all day long, I felt inspired and energized by our conversation! We were joined in the afternoon by other key lay leaders for what’s called a “Mutual Ministry Review.” Allan Dorsey facilitated our discussion of what we think we’re doing well as spiritual leaders, and where we think there’s room for improvement. We’ll share the results soon. In the meantime, I invite you to celebrate what a dedicated group of people we have co-leading our parish.

Sending you much love and many blessings!
Annual Vestry Retreat
P.S. All signs point to us restarting the Outdoor and Drive-In worship services on March 7th (rides will be arranged to get me to campus and back!). Of course, the recorded services will continue to be offered online for those not yet ready to venture out. At that point, we’ll also shift back to an 11:15 am Zoom Coffee hour so that we can all participate!
