Academic Dates & Deadlines

Mark Your Calendars for Spring 2020  
  • March 9 - 15: Spring Break 
  • April 24: Last Day of Classes
  • April 27 - May 6: Reading Week and Final Exams

Important Academic Deadlines  
  • Friday, February 28: Last day to change a class to pass/fail
  • Friday, April 3: Last day to drop a class with a W (withdrawal) on your transcript or change grade option on course to "C" (letter grade). If you are planning to take a W, we suggest meeting with your academic adviser beforehand.  
  • Friday, April 17: Registration for Fall 2020 classes

Campus Life is looking for BEAR Leaders for 2020 Immersive Experience Program

The Building Experience and Relationships (BEAR) Leader supports Bear Beginnings: New Student Fall Orientation through leading around 15 first-year students through one of seven themes during the three-day Immersive Experience (IE) program. Additionally, BEAR Leaders will assist in the implementation of evening programs/events, Move-In Day, and closing ceremonies during Bear Beginnings. Applications are now live!

The Learning Center - Location Change | Now!


The Learning Center has moved to Mallinckrodt Lower Level! Come and see it for yourself during the open houses on February 11th, 12th, 18th, and 19th from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.


First Year Finale Award Nominations | Now live! 

First Year Finale is a celebration for first-year students to celebrate and recognize members of the university who contributed to your success taking place on Thursday, April 23rd from 5:00PM - 6:30PM on Eliot Lawn. We are accepting submissions for First Year Finale award nominations until March 1, 2020.


Internship & Job Career Fair | February 6th

 

The Career Fair will occur on Thursday, February 6th from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM and provides WashU students a unique opportunity to meet and interview with dozens of potential employers. All WashU students are invited to attend. Professional attire (a suit) is strongly recommended. Visit the Career Fair site for more information on employers, organizations, and ways to prepare.
 

Day of Dialogue & Action | February 18th - 19th


Day of Dialogue & Action is a  two-day event of compelling panels, discussions, and learning opportunities. View the Day of Dialogue & Action website for more programming and event details.


Student Financial Services - Spring Hours in the DUC | January 14th - March 11th

 

Connect with a Student Financial Services Counselor!
 
Beginning January 14th - March 11th, SFS counselors will be in the DUC (Room 248) every Tuesday from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. No appointment is needed, so feel free to stop by and chat.

Athletics

Check out the  spring athletics schedule, grab a group of friends, and head to the game to cheer on your fellow Bears! Show some school pride by wearing the red spirit shirt you were given during Bear Beginnings! WashU students receive free admission.
