Your Lentin Discipline
Please don't forget the critical thinking and prayerful discernment we've done about health during the last month. We considered health in four ways; spiritual, mental, physical, and relational. As you prepare for Lent, the season of discernment and sacrifice leading up to Easter, please consider focusing on improving an area of health mentioned above. Is there a spiritual practice you could commit to doing daily or a way you can become more physically healthy? Could you pay attention to being more positive or letting go of worry? Or maybe you could tend to a key relationship in your life with more forgiveness and grace. Whatever the case may be, Lent is a perfect time to become healthier so that we can glorify God in all we say and do.

Food For Our Souls
The Who, What, When, Where and
Why of Holy Communion
Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter, is meant to be a time of deep soul-searching. You may have an area of focus you are asking God to help you with or you may be sacrificing something for the growth of your faith and someone else's well-being. Whatever the case may be, Holy Communion is one of the ways that we are strengthened for the journey of faith. With souls that are full of the Holy Spirit, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Pastor Brody will be answering some of your questions about this sacrament and by the time Easter Sunday rolls around, Holy Communion will have a renewed sense of meaning in our lives. We hope you will join us each Sunday to learn more about Holy Communion and God's gracious love.

VBS 2020-June 22-25, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Rocky Railway Jesus' Power Pulls Us Through
Believe it or not, it's time to start thinking about VBS. We are in need of lots of volunteers to make this a week the kids will remember. The first step is to fill the Station Leader Spots. The Bible Story Station is still in need of a leader. This is the station where the kids hear the story for the day and do an activity. The VBS starter kit comes with a manual full of ideas to pick and choose from. Please contact Heather Nekola if you have any questions or are at all interested in looking through the manual and talking about what the station might look like. If a station leader is not for you, we will need lots and lots of shepherds. These are the people that take their group from station to station throughout the evening. The VBS volunteer and child sign-up will be online soon. You don't have to have a child to volunteer!

Coordinating Our Building Use
Are you needing a place at the church for a committee meeting or event? Please note that ALL scheduling of the building's use must be cleared and scheduled through Julie in the church office. This is not a "permission" issue, but we do need this central location for keeping track of the building's activities (we are thankful to be able to host a growing number of Boy and Girl Scouts this year!). Just
drop an email or phone the office (848-7213), so there are no surprises. Thank you!
