Welcome back and Happy New Year! I hope you were able to rest and enjoy the holiday break.

We are excited to now focus on a safe return to in-person learning for all grade levels on January 5. As always, each year is certain to bring highs and lows but as we see year after year, the positive spirit and support within our Summit family is constant. Best wishes for a happy 2021!

RETURN TO SCHOOL SAFETY
If you traveled out of state during the break, please communicate with us so that we can determine if any precautionary steps are needed.

  • Continue to follow all recommended safety guidelines outside of school hours including proper use of face coverings, social distancing, hand washing, and avoiding large gatherings
  • If your child or anyone in your family is exhibiting signs of illness, be sure to speak with a physician prior to sending your child to school
  • Temperatures will be taken prior to exiting vehicles
  • Masks should be worn at all times except while eating or directed by a teacher
  • Lunches should be brought in disposable paper sacks - no microwaves available
  • Water bottles should be sent with students daily as fountains will be closed
  • Masks and physical distancing are expectations on all playgrounds
