Weekly Director Letter 07/01/2022
Dear Parents,

This week our little travelers jetted off to Australia. Students learned about life on the continent as well as about Australian animals. They had a wonderful week of adventures down under.

Our older kids spent the week learning about air and water. They did several experiments exploring sinking and floating and even building little boats as part of their explorations. Our older kids had a visit from a police officer and learned about stranger danger. Next week our younger kids will participate in a Buckle Bear presentation to learn about the importance of seat belts and car seats.

This week the staff participated in a retirement lunch in honor of Delly Anderson. After 15 years of distinguished service, Delly retired from our school. We wish Delly well in her retirement.

Parents please be advised that we are changing our closing hours. As only 2 families have been on the extended day program, we will now be closing at 5:30 instead of 6:00. Please remember that our teachers leave at 5:30. All parents are asked to pick up on time. Thank you for your support on this matter.

For fall which begins August 15th, there will be a small tuition increase of $1 to $1.60 daily depending on the class. This is necessary to increase staff pay and also keep up with the rising food and other costs. You will be receiving a link to the fall fee sheet soon. That pdf link will be your copy. All parents will be asked to sign their fall fee agreement soon.

Those kids who will be in VPK in the fall, please make sure you have turned in your VPK certificate. If you still need to get one go to www.vpkhelp.org.

Finally, we will be closed on Monday in Observance of July 4th.

Have a wonderful weekend with your family,
Beth Rosenthal Davis, Ed.S, NBCT
