PCCP Billing: An Undervalued Source of Pathology Revenue

Pathology groups face growing financial pressure as hospitals continue to reduce Part A reimbursement, anatomic payments shrink, labs lose ground to physician clients, and the potential MIPS penalties increase. Yet even in the face of worsening cash shortfalls, many practices are ignoring a major ongoing source of practice revenue - billing for the professional component of clinical pathology (PCCP) services.

Join our webinar on September 17 at 2:00 p.m. (ET) to:
  • Examine the history, misconceptions, and legitimacy of PCCP billing
  • Identify what services associated with supervising a clinical laboratory constitute PCCP
  • Understand how educating hospitals, payers, and patients impacts reimbursement for PCCP
  • Analyze the methodology for contracting, billing, and monitoring reimbursement for PCCP
