James Cheng'ori
Kitalale Home
17 years old - 12th grade
Loves listening to music and soccer

We praise God that James is doing well in school and applying himself in all subjects. Please pray for him as he navigates the emotions and challenges that all teenage boys go through.

Joyline Chebet
Kitalale Home
11 years old - 4th grade
Loves singing, worship, and jumping rope

Joyline battled Malaria in the fall, but with good care from the aunties and the doctor, she has fully recovered. We thank God for her good health.


Dennis Maina
Kikuyu Home
20 years old - 12th grade
Loves any kind of sports, especially basketball

Dennis is in his final year of high school. He has been enjoying learning to drive at the home under the mentorship of Uncle Wilson, the driver for the Kikuyu home. Please pray for direction and wisdom as he makes choices about his future.

Margaret Wangare
Kikuyu Home
21 years old - 12th grade
Loves soccer and swimming

Margaret is currently in her final term of high school. She is scheduled to take her final exam this month. Please pray for diligence in her preparation for this exam and that the Lord will direct her steps as she finishes high school.

Special Requests
  • Construction started last week on the new boy's cottage in Kitalale. Everyone involved is very excited to finally get this project going after a long delay due to COVID-19. Please pray that all goes smoothly, on time, within budget and that everyone working on the project is kept safe.
  • Pray for a hedge of protection around our children and staff as they stay safe from the COVID-19 virus. So far there have been no cases in either of our homes.

Please pray for the children in our Kikuyu and Kitalale homes in the following ways:
  • Pray for their spiritual growth and that the seeds planted in their hearts by the Word of God will grow and flourish
  • Pray for good physical health and growth as well as protection from disease/sickness
  • Pray for determination and a strong work ethic in school
  • Pray for healthy emotional growth, increased self confidence and healing from any past traumas

Please pray for the staff in the following ways:
  • Pray for wisdom as they make decisions on behalf of the children and the ministry
  • Pray for physical and spiritual protection for them and their families
  • Pray for a strong connection of love and care between the Kenyan staff and the children
