Memorial Day Update
Due to current circumstances, there will be no parade through Spring Lake, and no memorial service at the cemetery. The cemetery will be open for families to visit.

Other area activities on Monday, May 25:

11:00 am - Church bells ring for 5 minutes in Grand Haven and Spring Lake

11:05am - Flyover by the Hooligan Flight Team - Grand Haven and Spring Lake

11:30am - Private memorial ceremony at Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium. Due to space limitations, this service is intended only for families who have lost a veteran this year, to provide the family a time of remembrance.

11:45am - Legion Riders will ride their motorcycles through the Village of Spring Lake

Noon - Flag raised at the Waterfront Stadium ceremony and on Dewey Hill

Ottawa County Flood Response
With the large rain totals and a flood warning in effect, Ottawa County Emergency Management has declared a local State of Emergency to assist in coordination of additional resources.
 
The office of Emergency Management continues to urge residents to take measures to limit any damages to their property from flooding.

This information will help both Emergency Management and Spring Lake Township identify where the issues are and will help when conducting damage assessment.
