A.S.B. APPLICATIONS
If you are interested in taking on a leadership role at Pen, consider applying for ASB. The class meets daily during fourth period and plans school-wide events. The application and timeline are at pvphs.pvpusd.net under Panther Picks or click here.
Applications for appointed positions are due this Wednesday, Mar. 17.
 
BOEING SUMMER INTERNSHIP
The final, virtual information sessions about the Boeing Summer Internship program continue this Wednesday, Mar. 17th and Thursday, Mar. 25th, both at 6:00 pm. These sessions allow students and parents to learn about the Boeing Summer Internship program which runs June 21 to August 5. COOKING CLASS
Like Persian food? Don’t miss the next cooking class sponsored by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee of the PTSA this Thursday, Mar. 18 at 6:00 pm. A Panther family will teach participants how to make Kuku Sabzi, a Persian herb frittata. Register here and click here to obtain the recipe.

OUT OF STATE COLLEGE OPTIONS
Join more than 30 college admission representatives from out of state schools on Tuesday, Mar. 16 at 6:30 pm and learn about the potential advantages offered by non-California schools. The reps will give an overview of their schools and contact information for follow-ups. Click here to register.

Purchase St. Patrick’s Day goodie bags that include stickers, candles and handmade beaded bracelets in front of the gym TOMORROW, Mar. 16 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and on Wednesday, Mar. 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. POETRY SLAM
Peninsula’s first ever poetry slam is being hosted by the Black Student Union and the Gender and Sexuality Alliance on Friday, Mar. 26 at 3:00 pm. Submissions are due Sunday, March 21. Sign up here.
