Work Day at the Farm
Saturday, May 11
lawnmowing-lady.jpg

With so much going on this time of year,  we're hoping a few folks will still choo se come help out at Hilltop Farm!   We have high hopes for a nice day.

Put a gutter and downspout on the manure shed - T he runoff from the roof is messing up the hummingbird garden!

Hang the bat house- There is a nice sunny spot on the south side of the
fire escape.

Reorganize the lower level of the barn - major renovation work is startin
g on reinforcing the barn floor and replacing the floor boards in the main entrance, so we need t o move anything that we don't want to see get covered with dirt and dust, below.

Haul away a broken fridge- pull it out of the lower level of the barn so can be disposed.

Getting the Hen Emporium Ready  - we're expecting some feathered friends to take up residence in the west end of the coop this summer, and some more work needs to be done on getting their new home ready for a coat of paint!

If you have some free time Saturday, May 11th, please come up to Hilltop Farm between 8am and noon to give us a hand, and bring a friend! and Thank you!!!!
