Dear NIA Members,

We wanted to let you know that NIA is working on your behalf, along with 7 other trade associations representing insulation contractors and manufacturers. Yesterday, Monday, March 23, our industry council sent a letter with guidance to the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Director for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in response to the agency’s Memorandum on Identification of Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers During COVID-19 Response.

In that letter, we urged modifications to the current guidance so that insulation industry manufacturers and installers are deemed essential as part of this nation’s critical manufacturing and public works infrastructure. Click here to read the full letter.

We will keep fighting for our members and will keep you posted on any further developments.
