First, I want to say Happy April Fools Day!  If you're like me, all the days are blending together and I almost forgot until my husband played a trick on me early this morning! 

Today I thought we could have some fun in the wild.

1.  You may not know this, but Elephants are my favorite animal (don't tell my dog Zoey).  My favorite Sesame Street character is Snuffleupagus.  So here is a cute craft you can do with all those empty milk jugs.

2.  You can read about Belle the Elephant at the Milwaukee Zoo and watch her get a bath. 

 

3. The Milwaukee Zoo has Live Cams of Lions, Tigers, Polar Bears and Penguins.  You can also read about all the different animals on their Meet the Animals Page.

And for your parents- Have you ever heard of a Victory Garden?  I've been doing some research on building a garden (I've never had time, but now with the whole family home, no excuses).  In my research I keep hearing about Victory Gardens.  I thought I'd share some information I have found.  Good luck and send me pictures if you do make one.
