7 Essential Questions: Am I Accepted?
John 8:1-11

It is our prayer that both lifelong Christians and people on the edges of the church will be blessed as we explore some basic questions about life and faith. Lent is the perfect time to explore questions like: What matters the most to God? Where is God? What Brings Fulfillment to Life? And today the question is: Am I Accepted? The Good news is that even with our flaws, Jesus loves and accepts us as beloved children of God.

Week of Compassion
Nobody hungry, nobody thirsty" is the hope of God in
Isaiah. It is also the hope of this Week of Compassion
offering. With the gifts of our hearts, we let love flow, like
new well-water to a thirsty village; for crops, for cooking, for
life! Like water to disaster torn Texas after the storms.
Wherever there are needs the Week of Compassion will be there.
Let our giving be an upwelling of generosity and may
the stream of love bring about God's kin-dom. Our gifts are
prayer in action. Praise be to God.

Thank you for your gifts to the Week of Compassion Special Offering totaling $120.00. Please give generously this Sunday.

Slash Church T-Shirts Available

Throughout the month of March the Disciple Women will be "hosting" a t-shirt sale fundraiser and give the proceeds to us for the Mission Trip. It is our goal that each youth will be "sponsored", so they will not have to buy their own shirt. I have a document to track each youth member and their sponsor. I will have this with me on each Sunday in March to help sell shirts.

Please contact me Kerby Dalton directly if you wish to sponsor a youth member or you know someone who does.  You may also speak to me after worship.

Please consider purchasing one or more and helping to spread the word.

Death
Hold the Date! Sunday March 21, 2021
3:00 - 4:00 pm

Join us as we learn about Christian Ethics in relation to the death penalty in Virginia from the comfort of your own home (Via Zoom).

Even though a bill has been voted on to end the death penalty in Virginia -the Governor will soon sign it into law, Christians throughout the world still debate the issue.

What do you believe about Capital Punishment?
Can you be a Christian and support the death penalty?
Are there scriptural arguments for both sides?
This is just a part of the discussion!

*Your participation is needed -
This gathering is a part of a graded exercise
for Frances Stanley's seminary exam.

Foster Care Message
Foster Care Message

Give the gift of HOPE - open your home to a young person in foster care.  Each year over 2,000 children and youth enter the foster care system in Virginia.  Each one of these young people need someone like you to give them a temporary safe and loving home until they can return to their birth family.  HopeTree Family Services provides the training and support you need to be the parents that they need.  To hear more about becoming a foster parent, please join us for ONE of our online Information Sessions:

March 11 @ 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
