Join us for a March Moon Adventure March 8 | 6-8 pm Musser Gap Trailhead Join fellow celestial observers during March's full (or nearly full) moon! A couple of telescopes will give a magnified view of our primary satellite and pick out some of the more famous features across its surface. Rain Barrel Workshop March 29 Alpha Fire Co. Patton Station  This workshop will explain the importance of using rain barrels for storm water control, give instructions for installing rain barrels and provide all the materials, instructions and assistance in building a rain barrel to take home. Participants will take home a finished 55-gallon rain barrel. Registration is by household. The $35 fee is a per-household fee. Each paid registrant is invited to bring up to four people to take part in the event. Space is limited. Register today to secure your barrel!

Become a Master Naturalist! Pennsylvania Master Naturalist is a statewide partnership initiative that aims to connect people with their local ecosystems through intensive natural science training and local conservation service work. It is a venture directed toward developing a local corps of “master volunteers and service providers” to offer education, outreach and service dedicated to the understanding and management of natural areas within their communities. ClearWater Conservancy will be acting as the partnering organization for Centre County. The class schedule is available below and fall registration will open in the near future.
