Stay engaged with the MHS!
Every thing looks gay and lively. The Grass begins to spring, and the sprightly sunbeams gleam upon the houses. The windows are opened, the insects begin to buz, and every thing wellcomes the Joyful Spring.
Featured Item from the MHS Collection

This elegant volume featuring twenty watercolor sketches from nature and two contemporary views of Brook Farm was created by Marianne Dwight during her time at Brook Farm in West Roxbury, Mass. Dwight painted flowers, birds, and autumn leaves, which in 1845 were gathered into books to be sold for the benefit of the community.
