USHJA Recognized Riding Academy Spotlight: Full Moon Farm
We heard from Christine Hryzak to learn about Full Moon Farm, a USHJA Recognized Riding Academy in Finksburg, Maryland.

Tell us a little about your program and who you serve.
Our lesson program focuses on providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere in which everyone can learn English riding skills and horsemanship. We have the instructors, horses and facilities to accommodate all levels. We are home to a wide variety of riders–from those that ride once a week to those that ride every day and compete across the country.

What made you want to become a Recognized Riding Academy?
Recognized Riding Academies demonstrate the value of equine education, promote safety of the horse and rider, and offer hunter/jumper riding lessons taught by qualified instructors. We feel that the values of the USHJA and expectations of the Recognized Riding Academies aligns with the mission and values of Full Moon Farm.

Briefly tell us about your star lesson horse and why he/she is the best lesson horse around!
One of our long-time lesson horses, "Worth the Wait" AKA Roxy, is a great teacher for all! Roxy is an 18-year-old 15HH Welsh/Belgian/Appendix cross. She's small enough for kids, but big enough for many adults, so she is a very popular girl! Roxy is a stunning palomino and she loves getting attention from people. She is a successful equitation, hunter jumper, and event horse.
