CONNECTIONS | JUNE 2022
From the Director | Celebrating Juneteenth
This month we celebrate Juneteenth as a federal holiday for the first time. I attended community events and business celebrations around the region.

During the month we celebrated the grand opening of the newest retail location for one of our longstanding clients, April Richardson. We attended the Ribbon Cutting for a new branch of the African American Owned Harbor Bank of Maryland. Spent the day in Washington at the 31st Annual Federal Procurement Fair and hosted a panel on diversity and inclusion for the Maryland Manufacturing Extension Partnership.
I encourage you to read the newsletter this month to learn more about what we are doing and how we are supporting the minority manufacturing ecosystem.
