RESEARCH AND SPONSORED PROGRAMS | AUGUST 2022

WELCOME BACK!

Just in time for the start of a new academic year, we’re happy to introduce a fresh look to our Research and Sponsored Programs website. The new site is easier to navigate and includes all the resources you’ll need to begin your next proposal. Special thanks to our own Kim Camarena and Debbie Neufeld for their work on the redesign, which features easy-to-find links for important topics such as research compliance, Pivot, and post-award services.

In other RSP news, we’re saying farewell to two key members of our team who are leaving for new opportunities. Research administrator Gayle Sherwood and compliance officer Svetlana Hancer played critical roles as the University’s grant and contract activity grew dramatically in recent years, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Lastly, we join the University in welcoming two new Deans in the College of Social Sciences (Dr. Elizabeth A. Lowham) and the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (Dr. Rolston St. Hilaire, effective Sept. 15). We look forward to working with them and all of you during what promises to be an exciting academic year!
