Lent - Imagining New Ways to Live
Hanging by a Thread
TONIGHT!

What if the cross isn't about Jesus dying for your sins. What if Friday isn't "Good" in any way except from the perspective of Easter? What if most of our favorite hymns of the cross have taught us things that, while well intended, actually diminished rather than glorified God?
Is there another way, perhaps even more faith filled? Our multi-week discussion be explore these possibilities.

This Thursday will be our first online class at St. Martin's.

Our hope is to do this on this coming Sunday, then Palm Sunday, then Easter. We will undoubtedly learn things as we go.

By Bishop Stokes' directive, we are still not able to consecrate and share the elements of Communion, but we will be one in spirit in Christ.

Each of these liturgies will be conducted with a minimum of participants each staying a safe distance apart and using the utmost of sanitary precautions.

Pick up your Palms
Saturday, April 4
9:00 - Noon

A volunteer with a mask and gloves will bring palms to your car door if you drive up the front door of the church between 9:00 and Noon on the Saturday before Palm Sunday. Please stay in your car and just beep your horn. The volunteer will pass your palms through your car window. It's not ideal, but we think it's the best we can do to look out for one another's health and still share this powerful reminder of the beginning of Holy Week.

PS - We're looking for three volunteers, one for each of the three hours. If willing, write to : rectorstmartinsnj@g

Easter with St. Martin's

Instead of Easter "at" St. Martin's, we invite you to Easter "with" St. Martin's, again via Zoom at 10:30 on Easter morning, April 12.

You Can Still Pray
at St. Martin's

Even though the building is closed for common worship at the moment, you are still invited to walk and pray your way through the beautiful outdoor labyrinth behind the parking lot.

Please remember that St. Martin's financial commitments continue even now. Please send support.
