Lenten Special Collection
Traditionally, St. Boniface had loose change collections during the season of Lent. This year we have decided to dedicate our contributions to our St Boniface sister parish of St Mark's Turkana, Kenya. Assumption will dedicate their Lenten contributions to our Our Lady of Perpetual help in Floenceau, Haiti. Please use the poor box fund on Pushpay or use the Lenten collection basket in the church to make your offering.
Additionally, we will support local charitable efforts through the Annual Catholic Appeal. Please help as much as you can. As is often the case, the poor end up bearing a disproportionate share of the burdens that impact us all.
Lenten mite boxes are available in the back of the church for the children but all are welcome to take one home and return it before Easter.

Xavier Society for the Blind
The Xavier “Free Publication” Society was founded in 1900. Our mission was envisioned by a blind teacher of blind children, Margaret Coffey, and Fr. Joseph Stadelman, SJ. The Society provides “the Word of God, and the best of Roman Catholic teaching and literature, spiritual and inspirational material, to blind or visually impaired persons of any faith in whatever format best meets their needs at no charge.”

New Vaccine Resources
The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is opening a pop-up vaccination clinic that will operate for seven days from Thursday 2/25/21 to Wednesday 3/3/21, from 8:00am-7:00pm at:
El Caribe Catering Hall

The vaccination site is only open to people 65 and older who live in these qualifying BROOKLYN ONLY zip codes:

We will be praying a Novena to St. Joseph on Wednesday and
Fridays following the 9am Mass at Assumption. The prayers
