May 19 City of Ocala Special Election Run-off Update
Marion County, FL. May 15 - Tuesday, May 19 is the City of Ocala Special Election Run-off for City Council District 2. Only voters registered within the limits of Ocala are eligible to vote in this election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all 19 Ocala polling locations. Voters are required to cast a ballot in the precinct in which they reside on Election Day and can lookup their voting location at www.VoteMarion.Gov . A current and valid photo and signature ID is required to vote.

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed was May 9 by 5 p.m. A voter can pick up his or her own vote-by-mail ballot or may designate in writing another person to pick up their ballot through Election Day. Voted mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office by 7 p.m. Election Day to be counted. It is currently recommended that voted mail ballots are returned in person to the official ballot drop box located at the Elections Office, 981 NE 16th Street, Ocala.

Unofficial voter turnout can be tracked at www.VoteMarion.Gov/Turnout and is updated every 10 minutes. Local election results can be viewed at www.VoteMarion.Gov/ElectionResults. The first set of unofficial election results will be posted by 7:30 p.m. and updated every 15 minutes thereafter until all precincts are reported. Results are unofficial until the Canvassing Board meet and certifies the election.
