Nicole Szklarczyk and Emma Wood have received Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Canada Graduate Scholarships, both in the amount of $17,500.

Some Online Summer Courses Have Room for Interested Students
|
It's not too late to register for online summer courses! There is room in SJPS 1026F/G: Approaches to Social Justice and Peace Studies. This course provides a comprehensive survey of theoretical approaches to social justice and peace. It examines contemporary theories of justice, such as utilitarian, libertarian, distributive, procedural, religious and feminist. It examines contemporary theories of peace such as conflict resolution, pacifism, non-violence, war and humanitarian intervention.
The pre-requisite for this course has been waived. Students who are unable to enroll themselves online can contact
Laura Clarke to be added to the course.

Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB)
|
The Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) provides financial support to post-secondary students, and recent post-secondary and high school graduates who are unable to find work due to COVID-19.
This benefit is for students who do not qualify for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) or Employment Insurance (EI).
