NEW! Perry Park
play structure
Another exciting upgrade to Perry Park is a new handicap-accessible playground designed by Midstates Recreation specifically for Lakeside.
The new playground features an Aeroglider, slide, wheelchair ramps and barriers, two climbers, several activity panels, mounted bells, telescope, anywhere seat and custom, slip-resistant, poured in place (PIP) surfacing.
The existing playground will be removed this fall, and a new water and irrigation system will be added in the park. The installment of the new playground equipment will start this fall and be completed in the spring, as well as the addition of new plantings along Ohio’s Most Beautiful Mile to enhance the space.
These special enhancements to Perry Park have been made possibly through the generous support of the Mark & Jane Grindley Family. Mark and Jane continue to focus their support on improving space for handicap children and making areas of Lakeside accessible for all.
