Happy Hormones,
Happy You!
Better understand how hormones work, what it feels like when hormones are in balance and how to detect when they are out of balance. Participants will receive a quiz in advance that will provide insight into their own potential hormonal imbalances. Learn keyways to support the rebalancing of hormones through nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle practices.
Hello Wellness Friends,
If you are anything like me, a year of COVID-19 has been rough. We miss our friends and family, we miss our regular activities, and we have gained more weight than normal.

Have you heard of the "COVID 15?" The average person has gained 15 lbs this year! If you did too, you are in good company.

I had a huge a-ha moment in our "Back to Basics-Mediterranean Style Eating" program. I was eating green beans as my primary green vegetable because everyone in my family would eat them. You know what? It's not a green vegetable - it's a legume. I need to add more leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables into my diet even if I am the only one who eats them.

You would think I would know that, right? But sometimes we need that reminder to get us back on track. I find every time I sit through a Women's Wellness program, even if it is one I have heard before, I learn something new.

It has been a year since we were at our last retreat. If you are missing our programming, we are offering virtual programs. If you missed one and would like a recording, we can provide that for you as well.

I have also included a number of articles that I think you will find interesting. Please stay in contact on our Facebook group. We will use this newsletter and the Facebook group to keep in touch.

Be Well,
Julie Kiefer, UWO Program Manager
