Supporting and Empowering Students During COVID-19
The Counseling Center will offer a workshop on helping student who are experiencing greater levels of stress and anxiety during the pandemic. The session will teach how to recognize students in distress in order to connect them to the support they need and how to recognize students who are distressed but coping effectively on their own, in order to reinforce those strengths. The workshop will be held on January 27 at 2 p.m. over Zoom.

Call for Volunteer Peer Reviewers in all Disciplines
The Office of Research and Innovation is recruiting faculty volunteer peer reviewers for limited submission and internally-funded competition submissions. The process of reviewing proposals is easy and efficient. All reviews are conducted virtually through the
Drexel University Funding Portal. Reviewer selection for competitions is determined through a needs analysis that assesses the overall pool of applications, and one that ensures reviewers are broadly representative of the applicant pool. If you are interesting in volunteering as a Peer Reviewer, please
sign up no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, January 25. Contact

Diversity Mentorship Program
Janssen has launched a Quantitative Sciences Diversity Mentorship Program aimed at racial and ethnic minority students in order to provide them with an opportunity to build valuable professional relationships and explore career pathways within Janssen’s R&D that align with their academic and professional interests. The program will run from February 22-May 3. If you know of any graduate students who would make excellent mentors, please
encourage them to apply.
Educational Videos for Researchers from Drexel Libraries
Drexel Libraries has developed a series of short videos to help researchers in their work. The first video, which covers the process of finding background information using dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks, is now available to view on the
Drexel Libraries YouTube Channel.
New Tool for Searching E-Books
Drexel Libraries has created a collected a list of resources for searching for ebooks, chapters and journal articles all in one place. These include Knovel, ProQuest and more. Visit the
